While Riddhima was making Kheer, Nikkita was chopping Almonds to put in them. Ananya was just standing there looking at them. Suddenly they heard a loud voice.
Ar: mommm!!! Mere kapde???
An: arri hunn beta!
An: (to riddhima) beta tumne armaan ke kapde nahi nikale?
Ri: maa woh unno ne mujhe mana kiya tha!
An: (mind) main kya karun iss ladle kaa? Iska Matlab usne abhi bhi riddhima ko aapni Patni sweekar nahi kiya! Nahi shayad mein ghalat soch rahi hunn, agar aisa hota to riddhima itne calm mood mein na hoti!!!
An: chalo koi baat nahi main nikal deti hunn!!!
Ananya left from there leaving riddhima in a deep thought.
Ri: (mind) armaan aapne kapde nikal karr hi to leke gaye the washroom mein! Kahin Woh isiliye to nahi ke main unke kapde ko haat na lagaon?
She was busy in her thought while nikkita was talking. When nikkita noticed that she wasn't giving any response she turned towards her, only riddhima to be found in a deep thought.
She shook her.
Ni: bhabi!
Ri: huh?
Ni: kya bhabi main kab se bula rahi hunn aur aap hi ke bhaiya ke khayalon mein khoyi hoi ho!
Ri: (tears welled up in her eyes) nahi aisa Kuch nahi hai!
Ni: (serious) bhabi kya baat hai? Anything wrong?
Ri: nahi nikkita tum mujhe woh almonds pass Karo!
Not convinced with her answer, nikkita passed her the bowl filled with chopped almonds. However she still made a mental note to talk to riddhima.
While they were busy talking they saw armaan and Ananya sitting on the dining table. Riddhima was about to take the kheer outside but stopped. Nikki saw this and got confused.
Ni: arre bhabi rukk kyun gayi?
Ri: nikki Tum yeh kheer aapne bhaiya ko de aao!
Ni: lekin-
Ri: (interrupting her) woh mujhe yeh kheer container mein daal ke fridge mein rakhne hai aur phir dishes bhi wash karni hai!
Ni: (still not convinced) ok!
Nikki took the kheer outside and served it to armaan as he was done with his breakfast. He looked at the kheer and was amazed with the decoration as it was decorated with almonds on top.
Ar: arre kheer?
An: tu kha to sahi!
Ar: lekin mom-
Ni: khaye na bhaiya! Aaj taste bohot special hai!
Ar: (taking a spoonful in his mouth) kyun?
Ni: isiliye kyun ajj kheer apki dulhan ne banayi hai!!
When he heard riddhima's name, his jaw hardened and threw the ball aside which fell on the floor breaking into many pieces. Riddhima hearing the voice rushed from the kitchen seeing the kheer spread in the floor.
An: (shocked) yeh kya kar raha hai?
Ar: (angry) maa mujhe der horahi hai!!
An: par armaan kheer to-
Ar: mujhe nahi khaani yeh kheer!
Ni: par bhaiya bhabi ne itne pyaar se-
Ar: (shouting louder) Maine kaha na!
Saying that he stormed out of the house. While Ananya hit her forehead, nikkita turned around and saw riddhima in tears.
Ni: bha- bhabi a-aap?
Hearing nikkita, riddhima wiped her tears and ran in the kitchen. Ananya saw her running into the kitchen. She told nikkita to go behind her.
Nikkita ran after riddhima and saw her crying bitterly sitting on the floor behind the counter.
Ni: bhabi?
Ri: (wiping her tears, she got up) nikkita tu?
Ni: bhabi aap to rahi hai?
Ri: (moving away from nikkita) nahi- nahi!
Ni: (turning her around) bhabi aap jhoot bol rahi hain!
Ri: (bursting out) Nikita main aisa kya karun Jise woh mujhe aapni Patni maan jaein?
Ni: (shocked) matlab- bhaiya ne aapko aapni Patni nahi mana?
Riddhima shook negatively and was about to say something, when they heard the plates drop.
They turned towards the door seeing the biggest shock of their lives. Ananya laid unconscious there. They rushed to her and tried to shake her.
Ni: mom!
Ri: (rubbing her palms) nikkita inne heart attack aaya hai! Jaaldi ambulance call karo!!!
Ni: Jee bhabi!!!
After half and hour they were in the hospital. Ananya was in the OT while riddhima and nikkita roamed outside the OT. Nikkita informed muskaan about the scenario and in a few minutes she arrived.
Mu: kya hoa mom ko!
Nikki told muskaan about her discussion with riddhima and how Ananya heard it and fainted.
Muskaan who was fuming in anger approached a tearful riddhima.
Mu: aapko Zara bhi sharam nahi aati na? Apko sukoon nahi mila tha Bhaiya ki zindagi bar baad karke? Jo Abb mom ko bhi bed pe phoncha diya?
Ri: (crying bitterly) muskaan aisi baat nahi hai! Mera har kiz matlaab nahi ta maa ko-
Mu: aapne matlab ki to baat hi na kare na aap! Main Bohot achi tara pata hai ke aap jaise cheap aur middle class larkiyon ko kya matlab hota hai!! Aap sirf aur sirf paise keliye shaadi ki hai!!!
Saying that she walked past nikkita pushing her aside. She went into an isolated corner and took her mobile out. She dialled Armaan's number but it was busy. She kept and kept trying, but couldn't reach.
IN THE OFFICE
Armaan came into his cabin. He was frustrated as he ate kheer made by riddhima, and after that by the questions of his employes. He sat down on his chair and took out some files. But he was lost somewhere else.
Ar: (mind) shayad mujhe uski banayi hoyi kheer phenkni nahi chaiye thi! Humari jaise bhi shaadi hoyi hai par main kuch zada hi Zulm kara hunn!
Parr who cares, she deserves it! Maine usse mana kiya ke woh meri life mein interfere na kare!!!
He was lost in his thought when a handsome guy entered his cabin. He was wearing a grey shirt and black dress pants. His sleeves were rolled up till his elbow. He was Armaan's business partner rather Best friend. His name was Rahul Grewal. He was armaan's friend since he was in grade 3. He knew Armaan in and out, better than anyone.
Ra: hey buddy!
Ar: (lost) hi!
Ra: agar office akar bhi Patni ke khayalon mein khona tha to phir office kyun aaya!!!
Ar: (getting pissed off) rahul tu jaanta hai ke Maine kinn haalat mein shaadi ki hai!
Ra: (getting serious) haan! Par armaan iska matlab yeh to nahi hai ke to bhabi ko blame karr!
Ar: yea but Maine usse kehdiya hai ke hum bus duniya ki nazar mein pati Patni hai usse zada nahi!
Ra: (shocked) what tune unse aisa kya kaha?
Ar: Maine usse kaha ke- ke main kissi aur se pyaar karta hunn!!
Ra: (shocked) WHAT??? Armaan Mallik, jisse pyaar ke naam se bhi nafrat hai, woh aapni hi Patni ko kehraha hai ke woh kissi aur ko chahta hai?
Ar: Rahul main nahi chahta tha ke woh mujhse juthi ummedin laga ke bethi rahe!!!
Ra: Armaan tu hosh mein to hai? Tujhe jhut bolna nahi pasand aur tune itna bada jhut bola woh bhi apni jeevan saathi ke saath?
Ar: Rahul I just told you! Hum sahi Mayan mein pati Patni nahi hai!
Ra; to phir isse shaadi kyun ki?
Ar: mom! She felt bad for riddhima cuz she was an orphan and her uncle and aunt didn't treat her well!!!
Ra: (getting kissed off) seriously dude? Teri humanity kahan chali gayi!!! Woh already ekk orphan, no one treated we well in the past, and now u are hurting with this ur soo called made up love story! Tu jaanta hai ke usse kitna dhuk hoga jab usse pata chalega ke u lied to her just to stay away from her! Seeda seeda hi bol deta!! Abb agar KABHI bhi ghalti se bhi tu riddhima bhabi ki Kareeb jaane ki koshish karega, wo humesha backout kardein hi sirf aur sirf isliye kyunke u made up a stupid lie about ur stupid love story! She's gonna think that your being forced to move on in a relationship with her.
Saying that Rahul went out his cabin. Whatever Rahul said was true. Armaan hated lies and now lying himself he was feeling guilty. But he wasn't at fault, he was forced into this marriage.
He never wanted to get married.
Suddenly the voice of his phone call swore him up from his thoughts. He picked it up only to see muskaan's number flashing.
