PART 8 Vivaah ekk nayi zindagi
NEXT DAY
Riddhima was making breakfast for everyone in the kitchen when Ananya entered.
An: Beta Mujhe tujh se baat karni hai!
Ri: boliye na maa?
An: (coming next to her) beta tune mujhe bataya kyun nahi ke tu doctor hai?
Riddhima's smile faded, her face was expressionless. She remembered her bitter past and tears formed into her eyes.
FLASHBACK
Riddhima was standing in the hall, tears were in her eyes. Shashank and padma were sitting on the couch holding their heads. Sunaina, her cousin was standing next to her, holding her by the arms.
The house was beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, candles. Although there was no people. Yes it was someone's engagement, but where was the bride? The Groom? The people?
Ri: chacha Jaan mera yakeen kijiye mera koi kasur nahi hai!
Sh: Padma sahi Kehti thi tum dono behano ke baare mein!
Ri: mera vishvaas kijiye chacha Jaan, mujhe nahi pata tha ke Di ghar se bhag jayegi!
Padma stood up and slapped Riddhima hard and she fell on the floor. Riddhima looked shocked towards shashank and padma.
Sh: abh se tumhara Sanjeevni jaana baand!
Ri: (choking) cha-chacha j-Jaan? Aap ko to koi aiteraaz nahi tha mere d-doctor hone pe! Aap Aisa nahi karr sakte! Papa ka dream tha ke main aur di doctor bane!
Pa: (taunting) Haan Haan! Tumhari behan bhi to doctor thi na, woh bhi sanjeevni ke doctor ke saath bhag gayi hai humare mooh pe kaalak maall ke! Kahin Aisa na ho ke kal ko tum bhi wohi karo!
Ri: (between her hiccups) yeh aap kya… keh rahi hai …chachijaan? Aap…aap jaanti hai ke main aisi nahi hun!
Sh: (screaming) Chup raho tum! Maine kaha so kaha ke tum kal se sanjeevni nahi jao gi!
Riddhima came forward and clasped her hands together infront of shashank.
Ri: plz chacha-Jaan aisa matt kijiye mere saath apko to mere ooper vishvaas haina?
Sh: Nahi! Abh mujhe tumpar vishvaas nahi hai! Tumhari behan ne meri izzat mitti mein mila di aur tum keh rahi ho ke main tumpar vishvaas karun?
Ri: (shocked) aap Aisa nahi karr sakte!
Pa: karr sakte hain! Aur abh tumhari shaadi bhi karani padegi!
Sh: padma tum koi achi si family talaash karo aur jald as jald iski shaadi karo!
He got up from there and went in thi room followed by padma. Riddhima collapsed in the floor and cried bitterly on her miserable fate.
FLASHBACK END
Ananya shook Riddhima out of her thoughts.
Ri: huh? Umm maa chodiye na!
An: Acha woh chodo! Main ye kehna chahti thi ke beta tume full ijazzat hai wapis join karne ki!!!
Ri: woh to theek hai maa parr Armaan-
An: armaan ki tum fikar na karo! Woh kuch nahi kahega!
Ri: Lekin aap unse ekk baar pooch lena!
Ananya smiled at her and kissed her forehead. She then left from there and Nikki entered. She came and hugged Riddhima tightly from the back. Riddhima got startled and turned around.
Ri: Nikki tumne to mujhe dara hi diya tha
Ni: thank you soooo much bhabhi!
Ri: kis liye?
Ni: meri help Karne Keliye assignment mein!
Ri: your welcome aur baar baar thanks keh ke paraya na kiya karo!!!
Ni: Acha bhabhi bye mujhe late horaha hai!
She kissed on riddhima's cheek and ran out the kitchen.
AFTERNOON
NIKKI'S COLLEGE
It was free period for some classes and Nikki's class was one of them. She was standing with her friends outside the back entrance of college, when someone tapped her shoulder. She turned around to see a beautiful girl.she was wearing a sky blue salwar suit.
Nikki saw her and got confused.
Gi: aap Nikkita Malik hai na?
Ni: jee Lekin aap kon?
Gi: mera naam sunaina Gupta hai! Main Riddhima didi ki cousin hun!
Ni: ohhh to tum ho bhabhi ki cousin!
Gi: jee woh main aapse Riddhima didi ke baare mein poochna chahti thi! Woh darasal maa ne didi se Milne se mana kiya hai!
Ni: woh Bilkul theek hai! Just a sec.
She turned to her friend and asked them if they would excuse them for 15 mins. Nikki's friends left, then she turned to sunaina.
Ni: Sunaina if u don't mind main tumse kuch baatein poochna chahti hu!
Su: poocho na?
Ni: (glancing around) yahan nahi! Canteen mein chalte hai!
Su: sure!
They went to the canteen and sat down. Nikki ordered Caesar salad for her and sunaina ordered orange juice.
Su: to batao kya baat karni thi?
Ni: if u don't mind kya tum mujhe bata sakti ho ke kis reason ki waje se Riddhima bhabhi ne aapni job chodi?
Su: (sighing) Haan! But make sure yeh mere maa papa ko na pata chale!
Ni: don't worry about that!
Su: 3 months phele, humare ghar mein engagement thi, Anjali di ki!!!
FLASHBACK
Riddhima was running down the stairs making sure everything was ready, she was bumping into guests and greeting them. Just then she bumped into shashank. He glanced at her from head to toe.
Sh: arre wah humari betiya kitni pyaari lagg rahi hai!
Ri: really chacha-Jaan?
Sh: Haan aur tumhe pata hai agar main thoda young hota na, to tumhara haath maang leta!
Ri: (blushing) Chacha-jaan!!! Agar Chachijaan ne sunn liya to?
Sh: to kya? Aaj meri sabse badi beti ki sagai hai, aur uski behan usse bhi Zada pyaari lagg rahi hai!!! Meri 1 nahi teen betiyan hai! Anjali, Tum, aur sunaina!!
Ri: (tears in her eyes) Chachajaan!
She hugged him tight.
Sh: chalo jao! Anjali ko bulao!
She went upstairs to call Anjali!
FLASHBACK END
Ni: iska Matlab tumhara dad was nice and fair with bhabhi? To phir kya hoa?
Su: phir? Phir Kya? Didi bhagi bhagi aayi neeche!
FLASHBACK
Riddhima came running down the stairs in tears.
Ri: chacha Jaan di aapne kamre mein nahi hai!
Sh: kya?
Ladies started to gossip while padma was giving Riddhima deadly glares.
Grooms mother came forward and question padma.
Groom mother: yeh kya tamasha hai? Agar yahi karna tha to rishta kyun teh kiya?
Sh: dhekye behan jee I can explain!
Groom father: aap rehne dijiye shashank!
Groom: yeh aap logon ne Acha nahi kiya!
Pad: Aman dheko-
Groom: chaliye mom dad mujhe yaha shaadi nahi karni!
They left from there. Riddhima was standing in the hall, tears were in her eyes. Shashank and padma were sitting on the couch holding their heads. Sunaina, her cousin was standing next to her, holding her by the arms. People started to leave.
FLASHBACK END
Ni: sunaina dulhe ka naam kya tha?
Su: Aman!
Ni: (choking) Poora naam?
Su: Aman Billy Malik!
Ni: (thinking) iska Matlab bhabhi ki behan ki shaadi, mere sautele bhai ke saath horahi thi!
Sunaina shook her and she came out of her thoughts.
Ni: huh- phir kya hoa?
Su: phir papa ne Aisa bola ke Sab surprise hogaye!
FLASHBACK
Sh: abh se tumhara Sanjeevni jaana baand!

Su: uske baad Riddhima didi toot chuki thi! Na kissi se baat karti thi, na hasti thi! Maa ka behaviour shuru se rude tha didi ke saath Lekin jab papa ne bhi moun mora to didi toot gayi thi!
Just then before Nikki could say anything the bell rang and they had to go for class. Nikki wiped her tears and picked up her books.
Ni: it was nice to meet u sunaina! I guess abh to hum friends haina?
Su: Haan Nikki abh friends hai!
Ni: thank you so much for telling me! Abh dhekne main woh hasti khil khelati Riddhima bhabhi wapis leke aoungi!!!
Su: abhi kaha dost ho aur phir Thx Bol rahi ho!
Ni: chalo late hojayein ge! See you!
Both left into different directions to their classes.
Nikki handed in her assignment and since her teacher had to go somewhere for emergency, her class was dismissed and she could go home.
MALIK MANSION
Riddhima and Ananya were sitting in the sofa drinking coffee when nikki entered the house in a sad mood. Riddhima and Anana have eachother a confusing look and went towards her. Nikki's eyes were puffed red.
An: Nikki bacha kya hoa? Ankhein kyu Laal hai Teri?
Ri: Nikki kya hoa hai! Tumhari ankhein kyun sooji hai?
Ni: (having the courage to speak up) bhabhi plz aap mere liye coffee bana de!
Ri: Haan Lekin batao to hua kya hai?
Ni: aap phele coffee bana de phir main aapko batati hunn!
Ri: Acha theek hai!
She went to the kitchen to make coffee for her. While over here Ananya gave her a questioning look.
Ni: mom woh…
Nikki told Ananya everything what Sunaina told her. Ananya was shocked and had tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe the fact that Riddhima faced a horrible past.
An: Riddhima kitna kuch sehti hai, aapne past se leker armaan ki berukhi! Kis metti (soil) ki banni hai yeh ladki?
Ni: mom main chahti hun ke bhabhi wali Riddhima bann jaye jo phele thi!
An: Haan hum poori koshish kareinge usse khush rakhne Keliye!
